The Platform is a coalition of 12 Israeli NGOs uniting to promote human rights and the end of the Israeli military occupation through joint international advocacy. With our diverse range of perspectives and expertise, we take a comprehensive approach to address challenges and amplify our collective voice for justice and global impact.
Shaqued Morag is the Europe Representative for The Platform.
Morag is a human rights activist with a background in both grassroots and political work. In 2010, she joined Mahapach Taghir, a Jewish-Palestinian feminist group, as coordinator of the Jerusalem communities, and remained as a Board Member until 2023.Â
From 2013-2018, Morag held various positions within the Meretz party, including interim Secretary-General and parliamentary advisor. She then went to serve as Executive Director of Peace Now, the veteran Israeli peace movement committed to achieving a two-state solution and ending the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Morag has represented The Platform in Brussels since October 2023.
